This page is a work in progress. Will always be
a work in progress because doesn't hope and inspiration always require
so work? Well then, what kind of work, you ask?
Mostly work of the heart. We need to do the hard work
of opening our hearts so we can find places for hope and landscapes
of inspiration as we go through this disease. On the web it may
be a quote, a story, a picture, or a poem. As ataxians we know how
small things can lift us up for a moment or two, a kind word, a
gentle touch, a small smile or a sincere laugh.
William Blake said that you can only stand as much
joy as you can sorrow. We’ve have our share of sorrow, help us make
this a place of joy! Please send us any pointers, links, words or
pictures that have lifted you up and we will try to share it with
others.
